Take charge of your own electric 4WD vehicle and let the on-board computer guide you along the wilderness trail in comfort, safety and silence!

Delta Discovery have fitted all their vehicles with an interactive, multi-lingual GPS guidance system, so you can find out more about the area as you travel. Discover the area’s surprising wildlife, history and geology, while enjoying the breathtaking scenery used in some of New Zealand’s most iconic movies.

Located on the beautiful Dart River delta, about halfway between Glenorchy and Kinloch, tours start 10am & 2pm daily or by request. A pre-tour safety briefing is provided before you head out. Allow two hours. Ideal for small groups, families and couples, each self drive vehicle carries up to three people.

You can also hire electric mountain bikes from them, just look for the green shed on the left just before the Dart River Bridge.
