Fly through the native bush over the Oxburn stream
Paradise Ziplines offer an 8-line ziplining course, taking you on a very diverse journey by wire and walking track through the pristine native forest of the Oxburn stream valley. The lines vary; from up high with stunning views out to Mt Aspiring National Park and Paradise, through the beautiful native forest canopy, to just metres above an alpine stream.
This is a perfect activity for those wanting to see some of the regions stunning scenery, experience the native forest and see an amazing slot canyon otherwise inaccessible to the public. The thrill and scenery compete for your attention!
Full safety gear and training on the low practice line will be provided by guides before you begin so no experience is required; just an adventurous spirit. One guide attaches you onto each zipline, while the other guide at the other end of the zipline works the brakes for you, takes you off the zipline and attaches you to the safety line. This leaves you to enjoy the exhilaration while soaking up the scenery.
The tour starts with an uphill walk over uneven ground through beautiful native red beech forest; good mobility is required.

Practical information
Minimum age 10yrs. Children (15 years and under) must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years and over). Parents need to sign the participation form for their children.
Minimum weight of 30kg, maximum weight of 125kg
Not suitable for pregnant women
You may bring your own small camera if you have a secure pocket to put it in. Bring a water bottle and small backpack if you have one
Wear closed toed shoes suitable for wilderness walking N long sleeves and pants (you can bring a change of clothes if you wish). For all trips please dress warmly and bring at least one more layer than you think you may need. In winter bring a beanie and thin gloves in the winter if you have them as it can be cool in the forest and we want you to be comfortable.
